Quest Rates

Vessel Charter Rates 2007

The R/V QUEST is based in Fairhaven MA; all rates are for trips departing from Fairhaven. For trips departing from ports other than Fairhaven, transit rates will apply. All rates include fuel, 24-hour rate includes food and beverages, 12-hour rate includes beverages. A fuel surcharge will apply anytime our cost of diesel fuel exceeds $2.00 per gallon.

1. Full day, 12 hours including mobilization and demobilization, 1 licensed captain.
2. 24-hour day, 24 hours, 2 licensed captains.
3. Transit day, 12 hours, plus dockage.
   Dockage for transits and trips departing from ports other than Fairhaven will be charged at the best available rate for that port.
4. Mobilization and demobilization for offshore trips and trips requiring 24 hour days and extended duration projects.

Marine Vessel Surveying

Base rates for vessel surveys are $10.00 per foot, plus travel expenses and consumables. Please call for quotes for your survey needs.

Commercial Diving Services:

Less than 100 fsw, air dives.
Diver $100.00 per hour.
Standby Diver $50.00 per hour.
3-hour minimum for all shore based dives, 5-hour minimum for all vessel based dives.

Please call for quotes for Air dives below 100fsw and mixed gas dives.

Please note the Quest Marine Services complies with OSHA and USCG regulations for commercial diving, which require a standby diver and a tender.
